I'm so excited to be sharing these pictures with you from a styled shoot I designed and styled back in April with a really lovely, and very talented, team. Set in the beautiful Longton Wood in Kent, I chose to use my darling vintage props and wedding decor in a unique setting, and show you how to use vintage and still get a very elegant, romantic and whimsical feel for your wedding day.
I absolutely loved creating this wedding inspiration shoot, and I hope you love it as much as me. This week I've included the pics showing you the beautiful invites and bridal scenes...
This beautiful wedding invitation stationery suite is by Connie and Joan and worked perfectly to give you an idea of what kind of invites you could use for your woodland wedding. It is lovely to give guests an insight to your day with your stationery, and to also keep to a loose theme throughout. I love these invites on my chippy doors, that I use for a lot of my wedding styling and prop hiring.
I wanted to create a romantic scene in the beautiful woodland for the bride to await her groom. With my chippy doors as the backdrop, I used my vintage sofa along with vintage brass candlesticks and stunning floral hoops by Cabbage White Flowers, who created all the beautiful blooms for this shoot. The whole set-up could be recreated as a photo booth at your wedding, or as a little lounge area for your guests.
Our beautiful bride wore the stunning Apache dress by Jenny Packham, from The Pantiles Bride in Tunbridge Wells, and it worked just perfectly for a whimsical woodland wedding. With loosely styled hair up by Chase Makeup and natural but dramatic makeup by Natasha Valerie Makeup, the flower crown finished the bridal look off perfectly. The whole shoot was beautifully captured by the very talented Katie Rogers Photography.
Next week I'll show you my beautiful table setting and the gorgeous cake by Kasserina Cakes, all set amongst the bluebells in this stunning woodland wedding venue in Kent.
I'd love to know what you think so far about this whimsical woodland wedding? Are you planning on getting married in the woods? Perhaps you would now love to use vintage, and create a magical, whimsical wedding day. If so, why not get in touch to see how I can help you.
